Anna Litvinova: dreams of something more
You dream more - more is given. How will your life turn out if you allow yourself really daring fantasies?
|Anna Litvinova, author of popular detective stories that he writes with his brother - Sergey Litvinov.|
I was once eighteen, and I dreamed of getting a million. Do not laugh, even went to the witch. And every evening, at her instigation, represented a cornucopia, from which huge sums of money, credit cards, checks, gold bars and other wealth poured on me. And she dreamed of marrying a prince - not just a rich man, but a man of noble blood. And the role in the movie is certainly the main one. Let her guess - it would not come true, but how much fun! However, the older she got, the more mundane the aspirations became. What a million - at least just find a job with a normal salary. And the husband - promising, but not drinker. And if the dubious peasants in the subway were invited to audition for the film, shook their head and went into the next carriage.
And I still do not have a million. My husband is good, but not at all from Buckingham Palace. And in the movie I played only in a tiny episode. Perhaps it was not necessary to leave crazy, unrealistic hopes?
Here's the story: a woman really wanted children. Fifteen years she was treated, did IVF - all to no avail. When she turned forty-two, the doctors said: there is no more chance. Only adopt. And she continued to dream and went all-in. Another IVF. And for safety, spending family savings, she hired two surrogate mothers. "Madness!" - doctors unanimously claimed. Only all three embryos took root! She gave birth to two daughters. One of the surrogate mothers is a boy. The second - still twins, also girls. The children, however, are premature, weak. Weighed a little more than a kilogram, doctors claimed: not viable. And the heroine almost died - at forty-two it is very difficult to bear and give birth to two.
But they did it. Now the children are five years old, they are healthy, and their mother does not tire of repeating that she is the happiest woman in the world. Believers will say, "God has given." Fatalists - what a fate. Players: "Lucky." Or maybe just a reward for courage?
Brother Sergey and I are writing novels. And often we receive letters from readers. One of them came from a girl from the outback. She always believed that her ceiling was a pedagogical institute in the regional center. And I read about the adventures of Tatyana Sadovnikova and thought: why is she worse? Why can't she either - become the director of an advertising agency, travel the world, twist novels with millionaires ?! Everyone tried to cool her ardor: “These are books, fiction!” And the girl took a chance. And went to enter Moscow. And, most surprisingly, I became a student! No tutors, no cronyism. Her training was not bad, and she was lucky: two years ago, applicants who were born in 1991 went to institutes. Children then came into the world almost half as much - here the competitions in universities fell. Now our reader is in her third year, she works part-time at an advertising agency, is going to marry an Englishman, and she, as she writes, has a “completely different life”.
Maybe we all should not let our dreams come true? To dream not only that the husband would give a ring for the New Year, but his son will have a runny nose quickly? But allow yourself really daring fantasies? And they will either come true, or you will simply be happy. At least in dreams.
