How boring it is to live ... How to avoid routine in everyday life, says psychologist and TV presenter Galina Timoshenko.

The hardest month is October. The vacation ended so long ago that it seemed as if it had not started, the usual routine consumed all romantic memories and hopes, and in general the vague thought that it would probably not be possible to survive until the next summer ...
How to make uninteresting interesting, boring - fresh and unexpected? How to find a replacement for a boring, monotonous daily routine? And should something even become such a replacement? Maybe it is generally indestructible - or (even worse) necessary? But, if necessary - then why, tell me, please!
Perhaps we need a routine, without it everything will collapse. The first answer that comes to mind is for the rest of our lives to seem like honey. Well, in fact, you need some kind of contrast, against which the vacation, or weekend, will look like pleasant moments in life.
It's actually debatable. Indeed, in this case, it is worth organizing your life so that it has more troubles in it, and it is quite possible to do without routine. So not that.
A routine is needed in order to painfully master the skills necessary for life ... No, my forces left after an exciting vacation are not enough to continue to develop this idea.
In a word, if someone undertakes to prove that routine is vital for us, then it will not be me.
In principle, a routine is not needed for anything, it is simply impossible to cope with it. Then we will have to first find out where it comes from. As always, let's first figure out what this is all about.
Usually they call a routine all sorts of tedious, monotonous things, which nobody decisively wants to do, and not to be impossible and impossible. Washing dishes, for example, compiling some kind of useless reports and other documents, standing in lines ... No, of course, you can use disposable dishes, evade immediate job duties and visit the places where many people go, inevitably creating their own the presence of the queue, - shops, banks, all kinds of government agencies, in which we receive many necessary certificates
The only way to defeat the routine is to become interested in something seriously and for a long time.
Ok, so be it. But why is writing a bunch of similar documents and washing dishes so boring?
We show interest in that which is unfamiliar or not very clear to us. Apparently, the word "interest" in its origin is not purely Russian. Its closest analogues can be considered the words “curiosity” and “curiosity”. Having examined them, it turns out that both of these words by their very structure give us reason to state that interest is the activity of asking questions and finding answers to them.
It would seem impossible to avoid routines: what is incomprehensible and unknown in vacuuming a carpet? Or fill out a bank receipt?
So, but not so. Firstly, what prevents you from engaging in fascinating mental activity while filling out a receipt or processing a carpet with a vacuum cleaner?
There is one more option for this case: are you really sure that you know almost everything about those things that seem routine to you? For example, about the same notorious dishwashing? Do you really think you have tried all possible ways to do the dishes? By the way, how many such methods do you know?
There are 23 ways to clean the dishes.
One of my extremely creative friends says she knows 23 ways to make dishes clean. She is currently looking intensely for the twenty-fourth. Does this seem abnormal to you? But then it’s boring for you to wash the dishes, and for her it’s an adventure. Our definition of interest works: at some point, my original asked herself the QUESTION - “Can I wash the dishes somehow differently?”. The search for an answer - more precisely, for answers - lasts two years. All this time she is not bored.
That is, in principle, routine can be avoided.
So I hear an objection: and if I'm not interested, in how many ways can I wash the dishes? And it doesn’t matter what the paper is made of on which I write it all, what my colleague at work dreamed of (and for some reason he is eager to tell all the time!), Why my boss behaves so disgustingly and in general ...
What can you do ... If all of this is not interesting to you, then the routine way of being is quite suitable for you. Then you have nothing to complain about. It would be possible not to be bored, but to be interested around so much of the curious. But you don’t want to. Although ... Maybe you just do not know how to be interested?
