DIY: clay angels
You will need: • Clay Craft Soft by DECO clay in red, green and white (other shades are obtained by mixing colors) • face shapes (molds) • toothpick, scissors • hand and nail brush
|1. Sculpt the cone, which will be the body of an angel. Using a brush, we give the cone the texture of the fabric.||2. Mix white and a little red clay. From the resulting pink color we create the face of an angel, putting clay in an already finished form.|
|3. We also make hands from pink clay. We form droplets of clay and cut with scissors to make fingers.||4. Insert the hands into the prepared drops of white clay, which will be sleeves. Apply folds to the sleeves with a toothpick.|
|5. Roll out the white clay with a rolling pin in a thin layer to make a collar. We make ruffles on the collar, and then we pick it up just like a fabric. We assemble an angel, attaching hands and head to the body. To attach the head, use a toothpick.||6. Mix red and green clay to get a brown hair color. The resulting mass is applied to the head of an angel and “combed” with a toothpick.|
|7. After that, carefully glue the collar.||8. Take the white clay - for the wings of an angel. We make droplets from it and flatten them, then we make the texture of the wings with a toothpick.|
|9. Glue the wings to the body. Angels can be painted with acrylics or watercolors.|
